Buying Strategy

Set your target profit and how aggressive the bid should be. A more aggressive setting will allow a higher Maximum Bid; a conservative setting lowers it.

Auction-value suggestion

When the Year, Make, and Model are filled in, Buying Strategy automatically shows a Suggested Auction Value based on historical results for the same vehicle. Trim narrows the match when available; mileage and condition refine the ranking.

• The suggestion updates as you change Year, Make, Model, Trim and mileage.
• If no comparable results exist yet, the panel will say so and the Maximum Bid still calculates normally.
• The suggestion is informational only — it does not change the Maximum Bid formula.
